Introduction
Fix My Resume is provided by Wknd Studio by LookSideway LLC. This policy covers our website and connected ChatGPT resume tools. Updated October 2, 2026.
Data Collection and Use
We process account information, resume text, job descriptions and generated results to provide resume tools. Saved resumes, structured resume fields and uploaded originals can be stored in our database and private file storage. Website review history and account usage records are also stored. A connected ChatGPT app can retrieve your saved resume when you request it. Exporting through the plugin creates a separate PDF or Word file; it does not replace your saved resume.
Data Sharing
Resume and job-description inputs are sent to OpenAI to generate analysis and text. We use Supabase for database and file storage and Vercel for hosting. Account sign-in and website payments also involve the authentication and payment providers used for those features. Using the ChatGPT integration shares tool inputs and results with ChatGPT; its own privacy policy also applies. Do not submit information you do not have permission to share.
Export links and stored information
Anyone holding a generated export link can access that file until the link expires, normally after 24 hours. Link expiry does not delete the stored file. Saved resumes and exports do not currently have automatic deletion in the application. Contact support to request deletion; disconnecting an app is not a deletion request.
Connected apps and optional measurement
We store authorization records to control connected-app access. Optional plugin measurement is opt-in and records feature usage, timestamps, outcomes, processing time, model names and token counts with a pseudonymous account identifier, not resume or job-description text. It is not anonymous. You can revoke access or turn off future optional measurement on the Connected apps page. These actions do not erase earlier records or recall files already shared. Authorization expiry does not delete the authorization record.
Product analytics
We measure page visits, button interactions, resume-tool outcomes, sign-ins and purchases to understand where the product works and where it fails. First-party browser and session identifiers connect these steps; signed-in events can be associated with your account. Product analytics does not collect resume contents, job descriptions, typed form values, or payment card details. Campaign tags, referring domains and broad device categories help us understand how people find the site.
Product analytics is on for this browser. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also disable client product tracking. This setting does not control other analytics providers or essential account and payment records.
Your Rights
To request access, correction or deletion, email support@fixmyresume.xyz from your account email and describe your request. We may need to verify account ownership. Do not send passwords or access tokens. Our support page explains how to contact us.
